With a strong focus on innovation, creativity, and customer satisfaction, we have built a reputation for excellence in the industry. As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Afternoon Shift Manager to join our dynamic team.

The Scope

We are looking for a talented Afternoon Shift Manager with a strong technical background in engineering or a similar discipline. You will manage the output of our afternoon shift including the production of our digital machinery, including a state-of-the-art direct-to-garment printer, a UV printing machine, a Kongsberg cutting bench, and many more. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital production processes, excellent project management skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional products with a great team.

About the Role:

• Full responsibility for managing the afternoon shift production team (20+ staff) including picking and packing
• Coordinate daily operations, machine output, and job prioritisation
• Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of printing machines
• Ensure effective use of resources and materials across the floor and warehouse
• Provide technical support, particularly related to electronics and circuits
• Maintain safety standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Industrial or Production Engineering or proven experience in industrial team leadership (15+ staff)
• Experience in machine maintenance and understanding of industrial equipment
• Affinity with electronics and circuit diagnostics
• Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory
• Prior experience in digital printing or textile manufacturing is highly desirable
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be available for afternoon shift work – approx. 230pm starts
