Home Care Support Worker | Aged Care - Murwillumbah & Surrounds

What you'll be doing
  • Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties and social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
  • Be a friendly face and brighten someone's day; provide compassionate care and support to clients in their homes.
Responsibilities (about domestic care)
  • Domestic assistance will form a significant part of the role and applies to both entry-level and experienced carers.
What you'll need
  • Live in or near Murwillumbah, including surrounding suburbs (Chillingham, Crystal Creek, Eungella, Limpinwood, Nobbys Creek, Numinbah, Pumpenbil, Smiths Creek, Tyalgum/Tyalgum Creek).
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's Licence with your own car (international licences or shared/rental vehicles are not accepted).
  • Have 3+ months of industry experience in a paid Aged Care setting.
  • Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day Monday to Friday; 7am start is essential.
  • Commitment to a paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training at start; travel is required for training.
  • Note: This is not a vacancy for Disability or to work in a facility/nursing home.

  • Permanent Contract hours: 20-30 hours per fortnight + flexible up hours
  • Hourly Rate: $32.86 - $34.16 per hour + 12% super + $0.92/km allowance + paid travel time
