Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, we are seeking a strong leader to assume the position of Chef de Cuisine, in our fine-dining Italian restaurant, Cichetti Club. You will be responsible for ensuring that product quality, presentation, and service levels are of the highest standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensure product quality, presentation, and service levels are maintained.
  2. Train and mentor junior chefs and apprentices.
  3. Supervise/manage large kitchen brigades of up to eight staff.
  4. Adapt to change and lead change processes as required.
  5. Work as part of the greater Resort team.
Minimum Requirements
  1. Experience in fine-dining, hatted restaurant preferred.
  2. Knowledge of broad Italian cuisine.
  3. Experience in making fresh pasta.
  4. Ability to present meals with flair and theatre in the dining room.
  5. Experience in cost control and menu creation.
  6. Thorough knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
  7. Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery.
  8. Well-developed communication and time management skills.
  9. High standard of personal presentation and grooming.
What We Offer
  1. Salary of $110,000.00 plus superannuation.
