This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia or on a hybrid basis from our Brisbane HQ.

As Head of Finance, you'll partner closely with our CFO to lead and strengthen the finance function across the Group. You'll oversee a lean but capable team of two permanent staff and four external contractors, drive process improvements, and ensure our finance function is resilient and scalable as the business grows. You'll also support future M&A activity and act as a trusted advisor in shaping financial strategy.

Partner with the CFO to deliver strategic finance initiatives and lift team capability

Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and smooth operations

Close out due diligence findings and embed compliance frameworks

Strengthen cost control and reporting cadence to deliver timely insights for decision-making

Ensure robust revenue recognition practices (AASB 15) and standardised billing across the Group

Own month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness

Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, and banking partners

Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, systems, and reporting

CA/CPA qualified with 7+ years' post-qualified experience

Strong technical grounding (revenue recognition, compliance, audit, tax) combined with commercial acumen

Proven track record in finance process improvement and transformation

SaaS, technology, or PE-backed business experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide a high-performing team

Strong systems capability (Xero, HubSpot, BI/reporting tools desirable)

Permanent role with remote flexibility or hybrid working from Brisbane

Direct reporting line to the CFO and exposure to Group leadership
