Looking for a hands-on career? Mechanically minded? Come join our team

Kenway & Clark is looking for a reliable, practical team player to join us as a Parts Interpreter. You'll play a vital role helping our customers and mechanics get the right parts to keep machinery running smoothly — on the farm, in the field, and in the workshop.

No experience? No worries. If you're keen to learn, we offer on-the-job training and support to complete a TAFE qualification in Parts Interpreting.

What you'll be doing:

  • Helping identify and locate the right parts for machinery and equipment.
  • Ordering and sourcing parts from suppliers or warehouse stock.
  • Providing support and advice to customers and workshop staff.
  • Keeping track of orders, part numbers, and stock levels.
  • Handling returns and warranty claims.
  • Assisting with stocktake and keeping our showroom tidy and well-stocked.

We'd love to hear from you if you:

  • Have experience in parts or machinery (not essential – we'll train the right person).
  • Are mechanically minded and enjoy problem-solving.
  • Have strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Are organised and detail-focused.
  • Are comfortable using a computer (email, Excel, inventory systems).
  • Hold a current driver's licence (forklift licence a bonus).

What we offer:

  • Competitive pay package, tailored to your experience.
  • On-the-job training and TAFE support for your qualification.
  • Overtime and call-out penalty rates.
  • Service milestone rewards and staff recognition.

Job details:

  • Full-time, 38 hours/week (7.6 hours per day Monday–Friday between 7:30am–5:30pm).
  • Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.
  • After-hours call-outs (once trained, approx. 1 week/month).
  • Must live within reasonable distance of the dealership for after-hours response.
