Your teamA stable financial system is crucial to the welfare of the Australian people. Your roleYou will play a key role in the RBA\'s work to contribute to financial stability. You will work closely with your manager to shape your and your teams\' work program, lead and collaborate on projects, and coach more junior staff (as appropriate). Working in HBC offers an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of the financial resilience of Australian households and businesses, and the implications for the financial system and economy. You will also gain exposure to other parts of the RBA, APRA and other agencies.
- Analysing and interpreting a broad array of data and information to identify and answer policy-relevant research questions, in collaboration with other teams across the RBA

- Strong critical thinking and technical skills, and a sound theoretical framework.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and presentations.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate productively with others, and to work independently as required.
- A degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, preferably an honours degree or higher
- Experience in using microdata for research or policy work is desirable, but not a prerequisite for the role
Working for an organisation that truly makes a difference to the people of Australia, we can offer development and career opportunities in a collaborative environment that supports your growth, wellbeing and promotes flexibility. Your individual growth and success drives the RBA forward as an organisation. Be more means you can do more, for yourself and for Australia.
