Yard Hand

Based in the Eastern Suburbs of Perth, our client seeks a Yard Hand to work in their manufacturing business.

The company specialises in manufacturing and modifying vehicles for the mining space.

• Receiving steel products into the yard
• Assisting with loading and unloading trucks whilst competently operating a Forklift
• Communication with the Delivery Drivers
• Liaising with the supply team for anticipated delivery dates
• Checking off delivery dockets and ensuring discrepancies are sorted
• Clearly identifying and labelling products in the lay own yard and job bays
• Conducting regular stocktakes
• Assisting with stock control
• Picking orders
• Entering data into Pronto

• Confined Space Entry – preferred
• Drivers Licence – Mandatory C class, HR Desirable
• Computer skills
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• LF Class mandatory
• Background in Manufacturing as a TA desirable

You will have the highest regard for safety in the workplace. You will be required to pass drug and alcohol testing, random drug and alcohol testing will also be carried out on site. You will need to have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role
