Position Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated and empathetic Mental Health and Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide practical, emotional, and social support to individuals living with various disabilities and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support including personal care, domestic assistance, and community engagement
• Foster independence and promote skill development
• Support individuals with complex mental health needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports
• Follow individualized support plans and uphold client dignity and rights
• Built the capacity of our participants
Requirements:
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (current)
• Working with Children Check (valid for employment)
• First Aid and CPR certification (current)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude
Desirable:
• Experience working with a diverse range of disabilities and mental health conditions
• Flexibility to work across various shifts including mornings, afternoons, and overnights
•Certificates in individual support
