What you'll contribute to
As Account Manager - Mazda Finance, you will act as the conduit between Mazda Australia Pty Ltd (MA), and Australian Alliance Automotive Finance (AAAF).
You will develop and maintain the Mazda Finance (MF) and MA relationships, supporting MA with their finance strategies and related projects, and partnering closely with the Dealer Distribution and Franchise Credit teams to support with the sales and acquisition strategy and the implementation thereof. This will be achieved by building and maintaining exceptional relationships with MA and managing joint obligations on a daily basis.
How you'll make an impact
- Manage MF and AAAF's obligations within the Strategic Alliance(s)
- Build and maintain exceptional relationships with intermediaries
- Support MA with the execution and implementation of planned strategic initiatives
- Partner with MA to assist with the development of retention objectives
- Act as a subject matter expert in relation to all finance products and services (including on MF related projects)
- Contribute significantly to business competitiveness by gathering product costing and critically analysing these against available options in market on a regular basis
- Monitor competitors with an emphasis on product and price offerings, volume of business, distribution activity and performance
- Administer, in partnership with MF marketing, all printed material necessary to support the effective and efficient delivery of MF finance products and services
- Contribute input and expertise into training, marketing, communication and change management plans for new product and promotional launches
- 10+ years' of experience in the automotive finance industry, preferably in an operational, product and/or sales role
- Demonstrated history of sales success through new business acquisition and account management
- Strong understanding of finance product drivers, profitability and delivery channels
- Proven analytical and project management skills
- Proven exposure partnering with senior management within a highly regulated environment
- Solid understanding of the Toyota Way and TFA business practices
- Excellent presentation and communication skills and the ability to tailor presentations according to the needs and varying levels of understanding of different audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence people
