- Demonstrate a strength‑based approach, teamwork, and ongoing reflective practice to support student learning.
- Implement high‑impact teaching strategies, use ongoing formative assessment, differentiate instruction, and plan next steps using data to support all learners.
- Engage in coaching, classroom observation and professional learning to maintain contemporary teaching practice.
- Collaborate with whole-school, phase and curriculum teams to support a whole‑school approach to teaching and learning.
- Support the social, emotional and academic growth of students and contribute to a safe, welcoming learning environment.
Maarakool Primary School is located on Noongar Whadjuk Boodjar. The school opened in 2025 for Kindergarten to Year 6 and is projected to educate about 350 students in 2026, with facilities including modern classrooms, a library, covered assembly area, oval and hard courts and specialist spaces for physical education, visual arts, performing arts, science and technology. The school is 26 kilometres from the centre of Perth, in Brabham, a growing suburb near the Caversham area, with a diverse community including families for whom English is not the first language.

Eligibility- Hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
