At The Sporting Globe, you'll find a vibrant and energetic atmosphere reminiscent of a sports stadium. The venue features large screens and TVs throughout, broadcasting sports from around the world, including football, cricket, rugby, basketball, UFC, and more. Patrons can enjoy their favourite sports while sitting comfortably in private booths and viewing areas.

What Are We Looking For

We seek a dedicated, vibrant General Managers, Venue Managers, and Assistant Venue Managers to join our front-of-house team in Sydney venues. Candidates should have a passion for delivering excellent service and creating exceptional guest experiences by ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. Responsibilities include delivering food and service to our standards, complying with Australian legal requirements, and contributing to overall business success.

The Ultimate Sports Bar Experience
  • Managing staff, including training, rostering, and on-shift management.
  • Overseeing venue operations, including restaurant, bar, and functions.
  • Managing the front-of-house operational aspects of the business.
  • Ensuring compliance with OH&S and Food Hygiene standards.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase sales and control costs.
  • Providing outstanding service to ensure excellent guest experiences.
  • Leading by example to foster a positive work environment.
  • Engaging with the market and implementing promotional strategies for business growth.
  • Driving revenue, managing food and beverage operations, and achieving financial targets.
The MVP We're Seeking
  • Minimum 1 year of hospitality management experience.
  • Experience in both bar and restaurant environments.
  • Financial management skills.
  • Leadership and team development abilities.
  • RSA, RSG, TAB Basics & Advanced certifications.
  • First aid certification is preferred.
  • Approved Managers Certificate is preferred.
