About the Role- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in your assigned section.
- Work under the guidance of the senior Chefs.
- Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
- Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff.
- Manage stock levels and minimize waste.
- Experience in a similar role within events or a premium restaurant is essential.
- Ability and experience in working specific sections within the Brigade.
- A passion for food and a commitment to culinary excellence.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or lengthy tenure in chef role).
- Food Handling Supervisor certificate.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
- A supportive and collaborative work environment where creativity is encouraged.
