What you'll do:

  • Operate and maneuver rigid trucks to load, transport and safely deliver hook and morrell bins between customer sites.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
  • Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of bins, maintaining adherence to schedules.
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
  • Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
  • Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What You Will Bring:

  • A valid HR Licence with 2 years Australian driving experience.
  • Experience with hook lift and/or marrell bins
  • Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
