As an 18-hole, par 71 private members' club, we proudly serve a vibrant community of approximately 1,250 members who value excellence, innovation, and growth.

We are currently undergoing an exciting transformation, including a comprehensive three-year course renovation led by The Player Group, with future plans for a Golf Academy. Our recent implementation of Northstar Club Management Software enhances our Professional Shop, Food and Beverage operations, and event management capabilities, positioning us for significant future growth.

After a decade of exemplary financial stewardship from our outgoing Finance Manager, we are now seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to lead our financial operations during the exciting next phase.

As the Finance Manager, you'll lead the club's financial operations, combining hands-on accounting management with strategic oversight. Your work will enhance profitability, improve processes and optimise revenue streams while ensuring strong governance and operational compliance in pursuit of the club's long-term vision.

Role Requirements:

Reporting to the General Manager, supported by a Finance Assistant, the Finance Manager responsibilities include:

• Oversee timely and accurate accounting and the full lifecycle of financial information
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the General Manager, Treasurer & Team Leaders
• Develop, implement and refine financial systems and processes for greater efficiency
• Lead budget management, cash flow forecasting and management reporting
• Coordinate tax returns, statutory compliance and audit processes
• Drive financial analysis and modelling to support strategic planning and business growth
• Manage payroll ensuring legislative compliance along with IT systems and infrastructure (including POS management)
• Facilitate asset management processes and foster continuous improvements initiatives.

What You'll Need

Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified accounting or finance professional (CPA/CA preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite (Northstar and Employment Hero Payroll systems an advantage)

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of accounting standards and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial systems and priorities effectively
• Proven results successfully managing the full finance function
• Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to advise at Board level
• Proven experience in financial leadership, ideally within a club, hospitality or Member-based structure
