Overview

SRG Global is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join the Mining - Drill & Blast team at one of Goldfields, WA operations. This is an ongoing, long-term project position. This is a full-time FIFO role from Perth with a 2:2 roster.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive individual to work closely with the Operations Manager and site personnel to ensure the project is run to meet the client's expectations and SRG's high standard of project delivery. The role provides leadership to site personnel and ensures work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe and economic site execution of the project, reporting to the Operations Manager.
  • Liaise with client representatives on daily activities and inform the client of activities which may impact mining operations.
  • Provide leadership, management and direction to support new and existing site employees.
The successful applicant will have
  • Considerable mining experience in Drilling and Blasting
  • Dangerous Goods Security Card
  • S26 - Statutory Supervisor
  • Computer literacy is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor personnel and manage client relationships
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in management
  • ICAM training
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
