Overview

Financial Accountant (Fixed Term) role at Zenith Energy – 10-month maternity leave contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant supports the Finance team and provides back-up administrative support as required.

Responsibilities
  • Monthly journal entries and accruals as required
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Accounts receivable duties as required
  • Assistance with monthly board reporting
  • Act as backup/support to the wider Finance team as required
  • Other ad hoc requirements
About You

As the Financial Accountant, you will have the following qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Financial Accountant
  • Degree in Accounting or Equivalent
  • Ability to create a positive impression in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong administration skills - organised, thorough, and systems-oriented with attention to detail
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Pronto experience would be desirable
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
