Personal Support Worker

Forward is searching for support workers in Newcastle, Oakhampton, Wallalong and Cardiff South.

Our clients are currently looking for support with high-level personal care.

You will assist clients with daily tasks, these may include but are not limited to:

• Mobility and Transfers – Helping clients into or out of bed
• Showering and Hygiene Maintenance – Getting clients dressed, brushing teeth and hair and other daily personal care
• Toileting – Provide bladder and bowel care, including enema insertion and changing catheter bags
• Mealtime Preparation – Assist in the preparation of meals
• Keeping the home tidy and clean
• Community Access – Support clients to visit the shops and other appointments they may have.

Experience required? – We welcome people with all levels of experience

What will you need to join us?

• Must be open to split shifts.
• Available to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Be willing to travel between clients – if you have your own car, even better

Must have, or be willing to obtain:

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Police Check
• First Aid Certificate
• CPR Certificate
• Contactable industry-related references
