Job Title: Apigee Developer

Location: Melbourne

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Apigee Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of API management concepts, strong hands-on experience with Apigee (Edge/Hybrid/X), or other API management solutions and experience with authorisation protocol such as OAuth 2.0 & representing claims with JWTs, and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement API solutions using Apigee Edge/X platform.
  • Collaborate with architects, security, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and design efficient API solutions.
  • Configure and customize Apigee Edge/X policies, proxies, and API products.
  • Manage authentication and authorization solutions.
  • Optimize API performance, scalability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain API documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and user guides.
  • Troubleshoot and debug API issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in API management and Apigee platform.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT Integrations, TLS/mTLS.
Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of API management concepts and hands-on experience with Apigee Edge/X (or equivalent API management solutions).
  • Experience with authorisation protocols such as OAuth 2.0 and representing claims with JWTs.
  • Proven problem-solving and collaboration skills across architects, security teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience implementing OpenID, OAuth 2.0, JWT integrations, and TLS/mTLS.
