We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and talented API Engineer to join our team and work with our key client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing APIs to enable seamless integration between different systems and applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop API solutions that meet those needs.
  • Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for APIs to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Testing and debugging APIs to identify and fix issues and ensuring high performance and security.
  • Maintaining and updating APIs to adapt to changes in business requirements and technology advancements

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in backend development using Java and microservices with Kafka, with a strong understanding of backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with API management tools and platforms such as Swagger, Postman, Apigee, or MuleSoft.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT for securing APIs.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for API development.
