The CNM/DDONM plays a critical role in supporting the management team at Inverell Hospital, working alongside Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers, Clinical Nurse Educators, and the Health Service Manager. This role focuses on overseeing Quality and Work Health and Safety initiatives, assisting with clinical recruitment, and implementing clinical programs and projects across the facility. The goal is to support clinical teams in delivering safe, effective, and efficient healthcare to the local community. The CNM/DDONM reports to the Health Service Manager and is supported by Nursing and Midwifery Unit Managers, with guidance from Quality Managers and the Work Health Safety Coordinator. Training and clinical supervision will be provided to support staff development.
Where You'll Be WorkingInverell, known as Australia's Sapphire City, is a historic town on the Macintyre River. The town offers charming amenities and easy access to Flights via Inverell airport with connections to Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne. Inverell Hospital is a Rural District Hospital providing a wide range of essential healthcare services, including Emergency, Renal Dialysis, In-Patient Unit, Maternity, and Surgical Services. A dynamic workforce of Nursing Students, Assistants in Nursing, Enrolled Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Midwives supports high-quality care.
Requirements- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
