Overview

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission (ACQSC) is seeking a Digital Content Developer (SharePoint).

The role of the Digital Content Developer is to support the ACQSC by converting technical, process driven, and supporting documents into webpages and other interactive digital content. Their focus is to produce digital content in line with established development processes from specification documents. This role assists in the ongoing development and maintenance of a SharePoint-based formal document management system covering the Commission's functions. This role requires excellent technical competencies in producing high quality digital content with good time management skills.

Estimated start date: Monday, 13 October 2025

Location of work: VIC

Working arrangements: The role will be based in the office - Opportunities to work remotely exist once knowledge/capability is demonstrated.

Length of contract: Until 31 December 2025

Contract extensions: 1 x 12 months

Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline

Rates: $45 - $55 per hour (inc. super)

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop content in SharePoint that supports Commission staff to effectively interact with business units.
  • Adhere to team processes; assist in content publication including creating, editing, reviewing, and archiving digital content, ensuring consistency in presentation and branding.
  • Assist in the curation of Commission documentation and the team's digital asset library.
  • Develop site maps and site page templates.
  • Contribute to documenting the team's processes.
  • Respond to Service Desk requests and incidents.
  • Manage cross-functional workflows and ensure high quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and timely finalisation of allocated tasks.
  • Work independently within an environment of change and ambiguity, and with minimal instruction or guidance.
  • Work in and with geographically dispersed teams; resolve conflicts between competing work goals, priorities, and projects.
  • Demonstrate sound judgement in challenging environments and commitment to the Commission Values.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.
  • Read, understand and interpret technical information to produce engaging digital content in the form of web pages on SharePoint sites.
  • Estimate time to complete technical requirements and report effectively.
  • Edit and publish SharePoint intranet sites to maintain comprehensive and unified suites of interlinked resources; demonstrate high-level independent technical expertise or the ability to quickly learn competencies in SharePoint.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills including building productive working relationships with internal stakeholders and presenting complex, technical functions clearly.
  • Participate in idea forums and other interpersonal meetings.
  • Strong technical skills in SharePoint, Visio, and DevOps, with aptitude to learn new technologies.
  • Analyse digital content for quality and accuracy; self-management to organise work activities and meet timelines.
  • Innovate and anticipate opportunities; apply advanced knowledge of SharePoint site administration and content management.
  • Project management skills and familiarity with DevOps/Agile methodologies; use of DevOps as a work item management tool.
  • Knowledge and experience with the Adobe editing tools.
Qualifications
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint site administration and content management.
  • Strong technical skills in SharePoint, Visio, and DevOps; ability to operate new technologies.
  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical information to produce digital content.
  • Experience with Adobe editing tools.
