The Role

The Enrolled Nurse contributes to positive health outcomes by delivering safe, quality, and person-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, in partnership with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking Enrolled Nurses with experience in acute medical ward settings, who are confident in applying nursing principles and procedures, and who work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated sound communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, and have contributed to quality improvement activities. Familiarity with relevant legislation and a commitment to respectful, person-centred care are essential.

Details of Appointment

Permanent, part-time, shift-work position, up to 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from 30 September 2025. Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant. A period of twelve months from the date of publication may be used to fill subsequent or similar vacancies.

Salary and Benefits
  • Salary: $70,980 to $78,179 per annum (Pro rata). Employer 12% superannuation contribution on top of this amount.
  • Salary range in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.
  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type

Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary packaging with benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other eligible benefits.
