About our clientOur client provides advanced solutions in condition monitoring, industrial measurement, and precision instrumentation. With a strong national presence and headquarters in West Leederville, the company supports clients in mining, oil and gas, academia, defence and other technical industries.
Their solutions cover a wide range of applications including vibration, noise, acoustics, structural testing (stress and torque), data acquisition (DAQ) and industrial equipment condition monitoring.
About the opportunityThis opportunity focuses on generating new business in WA and NT by promoting a wide range of technical products and services.
The role involves initiating and developing a client pipeline with additional support given by in-house engineering and marketing teams in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, you will:
- Service and build a portfolio of clients
- Develop new leads and manage both short and long sales cycles
- Deliver technical presentations and proposals to support sales cycles
You are commercially focused with a technical mindset and have a track record in B2B sales involving engineering products or services. You enjoy hands-on engagement with technology. To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Proven ability to source new business opportunities
- Familiarity with selling instrumentation, sensors, measurement, or control systems
- Ability to manage sales pipelines, CRM activity, and reports
- A valid driver's licence
- A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering is preferred but not essential
This role offers a long-term technical sales career with national scope and access to globally recognised instrumentation technologies. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary, commission structure, car allowance and fuel card.
With a focus on project-based selling and a clear plan for vertical growth, this role is positioned for candidates who want to develop into key national resources in specialist domains.
