Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Acute team.

Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north. Services are provided through our five main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn Centre, and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg. The Occupational Therapist (OT) department at Northern Health prides itself on being inclusive, supportive and committed to evidence-based practice. We are a team of OT's who are driven by positive patient outcomes and teamwork.

About the Role

An opportunity for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist has become available to join our team at Northern Health, working in a fast-paced acute hospital setting that provides a high-level clinical service to a variety of acute inpatient cohorts. This role predominately has an oncology, haematology and general medical caseload. You will work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to facilitate dynamic discharge plans that are patient-centred care and support access and flow throughout the health service. The role will work closely with the wider OT department to drive service development and ensuring a focus on innovations. This position is primarily based at the Epping Campus.
