About Us
The Parklife Metro consortium, in partnership with the NSW Government, is delivering one of Western Sydney's most transformative infrastructure projects as part of the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport line.
Our consortium—featuring Plenary, RATP Dev, Siemens, and Webuild—is delivering this once-in-a-generation project under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP), combining world-class expertise and innovation to build a future-ready rail system that will support the region's growth for decades to come.
About The Role
Employed by Webuild, we are seeking a motivated and detail-focused Quality Coordinator to join our team at the Stabling and Maintenance Facility (SMF) in Orchard Hills.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the delivery of quality outcomes on one of Western Sydney's largest and most complex infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, construction teams, subcontractors, and leadership to ensure compliance with quality standards, implement project quality systems, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of project quality plans, procedures, and systems across the SMF site.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with design, specifications, standards, and contractual requirements.
- Assist with internal audits, inspections, and quality surveillance activities.
- Coordinate the review, approval, and maintenance of quality documentation including ITPs, checklists, NCRs, and quality records.
- Support the investigation and resolution of quality issues, including corrective and preventive action processes.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure quality requirements are clearly understood and met.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of quality reports and data analysis to identify trends and drive improvement.
- Promote a strong quality culture by engaging with project teams and reinforcing best practices.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years' experience in a quality coordination, assurance, or compliance role within construction, infrastructure, or rail projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and project quality processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Experience working in major infrastructure projects or high-risk environments is desirable.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Be part of the SSTOM Project - a defining rail infrastructure initiative for Western Sydney.
- Work in a collaborative and quality-focused team committed to excellence in delivery.
- Gain experience on a major project with real opportunities for career development and long-term engagement.
- Contribute to building a legacy project that will shape the future of Western Sydney's transport network.
