Registry Support Officers provide administrative support across the ACT Courts and Tribunal registry operations. They provide client services, handle telephone and face to face enquiries, manage and monitor trust payments and collection of public monies as required at the front counter, process documents, handle sensitive and protected information, provide in-court support, prepare and manage files, record court outcomes and list court matters using the IT systems, and assist with other administration activities to support the court and those requiring the service of the court.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

  • Computer literacy skills are relevant to this role.
  • The successful candidate will be required to undergo a National Criminal History check.

Notes: There are both permanent and temporary positions available. Part-time hours may be considered and the salary noted above will be paid pro-rata. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Due to the operational requirements of the role, remote/hybrid working arrangements are not suitable for this position.
