Sanctuary Lakes Resort was built around a Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf course and a 60-hectare lake. It also includes a recreation club with gymnasium and swimming pool, tennis courts, a resort maintenance team, and state-of-the-art security.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial requirements for Sanctuary Lakes Resort Services LTD (SLRS) and its subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities include:

Deliver accurate and informative statutory reports for SLRS and its subsidiaries.
Deliver monthly management and board reporting pack, including variance analysis and comprehensive forecasts.
Liaise with relevant managers to deliver accurate and informative financial accounts for SLRS Owners Corporations.
Management of all applicable insurance, taxation and statutory requirements, including liaising with external auditors.
Oversee the processing and control of the payroll function for SLRS and its subsidiaries.
Lead and foster the development of a small team.
Collaborate and attend regular meetings with the SLRS Finance Committee, providing financial information and updates, as required.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Experience in a similar role within a service-based organisation with a commercial mindset.
An understanding of Owners Corporation management.
Proven leadership skills and experience driving performance, culture and productivity.
Tertiary qualifications in accounting/finance and CA/CPA qualified.

The Offer:

The Finance Manager position is offered on a permanent basis with a salary of $120K plus superannuation.
