Overview

The National Basketball League (NBL) is opening a position for a TV journalist, based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, write and present coverage and analysis of League events.
  • Engage in live presentation, moderating discussions, tracking stats, interviewing associated personalities, and providing play-by-play announcer calls.
  • Represent the League as a brand ambassador at promotional events and sports activities.
Qualifications
  • At least three years' experience as a journalist, with a focus on the sports beat.
  • Full understanding of basketball fundamentals and the NBL environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to perform under deadlines.
