This is a high-impact position where you'll be the trusted advisor to the Group GM and leadership team, delivering insights, driving profitability, and guiding strategic decision-making across our retail and trade business. • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute financial strategies that support sustainable growth.
• Build scenarios and identify opportunities to meet budget objectives.
• Lead the forecasting and budgeting process with accuracy and insight.
• Track financial performance and drive data-led decision making through clear analysis.
• Deliver insightful variance analysis, commentary, and performance tracking; own monthly reporting packs and work cross-functionally to drive improvements.
• Champion inventory optimisation and support stocktake processes; partner with store operations to ensure commercial strategies translate into front-line success.
• Oversee lease schedules, capex modelling, and support key investment decisions with robust financial analysis.
• Identify key risks, ensure compliance, and help maintain audit readiness across commercial functions.

• CA or CPA qualified with strong commercial instincts and operational awareness
• Experience in a fast-paced retail or trade environment
• Advanced financial literacy, strong modelling skills and the ability to distill complex insights
• Confident communicator – able to engage, influence and partner across all levels
• Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, and retail systems (ERP, POS)
