**Business Analyst Role at Auto & General Australia**
We are seeking a Business Analyst to join our Claims & Assessing Division, responsible for managing the Claims Process and providing a seamless customer journey.
Purpose of the RoleThe core purpose of the Claims & Assessing Division is to manage the Claims Process to control costs while delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Brief DescriptionThe Business Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the successful design and development of solutions for claims and assessing. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing business processes, products, and operational improvements.
- Defining business requirements, modeling processes, documenting IT specifications, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
The successful candidate will be accountable for:
- Gathering system and process requirements and designing effective solutions.
- Managing issues, change requests, and testing to ensure quality outcomes.
- Contributing to project delivery by ensuring documentation reflects business understanding and supporting the delivery team.
- Building stakeholder confidence through collaboration and engaging with the Business Analysis Community of Practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline.
- 2-5 years' experience as a Business Analyst.
- Proficiency in BPMN, Visio, process mapping, and data modeling.
- Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and relationship skills.
