Ranford Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School (IPS) located in the suburb of Canning Vale. We currently have 645 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. In 2014 the school received a Department of Education of Western Australia Certificate of Excellence, acknowledging that the teaching and learning programs, leadership and learning environment was of an exemplary standard as determined by an independent expert review panel.

In 2015 the school was named WA Primary School of the Year. Ranford PS is a Quality Teaching Strategy (QTS) Lead School. The school is well resourced, and students enjoy the full extent of its spacious and well-maintained outdoor environment. The engaging and positive spirit of Ranford Primary is evident to all who come to learn, work and visit.

We are seeking dedicated teachers who have high expectations of student achievement and are skilled in effectively differentiating the curriculum to cater for Kindergarten to Year 6 students, inclusive of English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) students, as well as those who require support or extension and challenge.

Suitable applicants will ideally have an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and use a range of contemporary strategies to deliver the curriculum, including the integration of Information Communications Technology (ICT). Along with high expectations for student achievement applicants will promote excellence and provide timely and effective student feedback. Ranford Primary has a well embedded Visible Learning Pedagogy that underpins the teaching and learning environment in every classroom.

Ideally applicants will possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a Professional Learning Community. They will build positive working relationships with parents and all staff, not just those in their learning phase.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education, Media Arts, Science etc). Only applicants in the pool possessing the required qualifications, will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
