In this role you will join the Industrial Relations team that's doubling down on winning together.

Responsibilities
  • Draw on substantial expertise in Industrial Relations and interpret complex Enterprise Agreements
  • Play a critical role in payroll compliance and driving effective remediation processes
  • Collaborate across departments with Legal teams to clarify and action compliance requirements, coordinate with Project Managers to ensure milestones are met, and engage with IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutions
  • Design comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes to ensure the payroll platform meets current obligations and remains resilient to future regulatory changes
  • Identify gaps, propose enhancements, and document outcomes to contribute to the integrity and success of the new system
  • Commit to best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement as a trusted partner in this transformative project
Qualifications
  • Considerable experience in industrial/employee relations with specialist expertise in employment law
  • Hands-on payroll experience and detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks; proven track record implementing compliance measures in large organisations
  • Experience engaging with Unions and strong understanding of union priorities and practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present findings, explain regulatory considerations, and facilitate training
  • Tertiary qualification in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Law or related discipline
