Overview

Marian Catholic College Kenthurst is seeking a temporary full-time Mathematics teacher to cover long service leave for Term 4, 2025. This opportunity is open to experienced teachers and new graduates looking to gain classroom experience.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons that cater to the learning needs of all students
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment
  • Provide notice and feedback on assessment tasks in line with College requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies to support student learning
  • Collaborate within the College to set high, achievable goals for students and yourself
About You / Qualifications
  • Current qualifications and experience teaching Mathematics, or be a new graduate with approval to teach
  • Strong ICT skills with the ability to integrate technology into teaching where relevant
  • Strong communication and organisational skills ensuring reporting deadlines are met
  • Ability to motivate students and foster a love of learning
  • Flexibility to differentiate learning activities and assessment techniques to support a wide range of learners
  • Willingness to be an active part of the Marian community
Qualifications and Accreditations
  • Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation – Working with Children Check clearance
  • Eligibility to teach according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification (new graduates encouraged to apply)
