Role Description

This is a part-time work role for a Buyers Agent Associate. The role is a combination of work from home/your office and also requires extensive travel around Sydney attending property inspections.

The Buyers Agent Associate will be responsible for assisting buyers in identifying, evaluating, and purchasing residential properties. Daily tasks include building and leveraging sales agent relationships to find properties, conducting property inspections, complete due diligence and research, and assisting with negotiation and post exchange care. The role involves managing client communications and supporting the principal agent in gathering market insights and property data.

There is a good degree of flexibility in this role. You will manage your own time to connect in sync with sales agents and clients including outside of regular 9-5 hours. Saturday is a work day as it has the most demanding schedule for open home inspections between 9am and 3pm so work on Saturdays will be mandatory. Beyond that you can to some extent set your own schedule.

Qualifications

  • Customer Service skills to effectively manage client relations
  • At a minimum you will have completed the NSW Assistant Agent Course and will ideally be working toward your Cert IV for Class 2 license.
  • You ideally have experience in Residential Real Estate either in BA, sales, or property management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of Sydney geography and property markets is a plus
  • A formal education in business, property economics valuation or financial planning will be highly regarded
  • You will need a car and a clean driving record. You will be on the road several days a week.
