Overview

This role is a Senior Mobile Developer position for Nuage Technology Group. Base pay range is A$100.00/hr - A$113.00/hr. The actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Role summary

Co-Founder & Contracts Director @ Nuage Technology Group | Long term contract opportunity in either Sydney or Melbourne. You will be delivering a major enterprise enablement initiative, modernising mobile applications by migrating from Kotlin-based legacy implementations to Jetpack Compose. The role will be embedded within a cross-functional team, working alongside iOS engineers and enterprise architects to deliver production-grade mobile solutions at scale.

About the role
  • Design, develop, and deliver Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Drive best practices in unit testing, modularisation, and CI/CD integration.
  • Collaborate with architects, UX, and product stakeholders to align with enterprise standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning.
  • Contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for long-term maintainability.
About you
  • Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Solid understanding of app architecture, modularisation, dependency management.
  • Proven ability in unit testing and test automation.
  • Exposure to Compose Multiplatform or cross-platform patterns desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
