Overview

Our client, a highly regarded consumer products business, is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support their finance team during a period of growth.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the month-end close, including preparing and posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processing, including reconciliations and follow-ups
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries
  • Prepare bank, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audit requirements
About You
  • Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role (or strong transactional accounting experience with month-end exposure)
  • Solid understanding of AP, AR, and general ledger processes
  • Degree qualified and studying towards CA/CPA
  • Confident using accounting software and Excel
