The Position

The Head of Fundraising is responsible for leading both SecondBite and the FareShare's integrated, data-driven individual giving and community fundraising programs, including appeals, giving days, regular giving, donor stewardship, mid donor journeys, and community fundraising.

Duties include:

Fundraising Strategy & Execution: Drive and oversee Regular Giving programs, tax and Christmas appeals, and Giving Days across both organisations.

Donor Stewardship: Develop and implement strategies for engaging mid-level donors through personalised outreach and supporter surveys.

Community Fundraising: Build and manage a tiered community fundraising program, including major partnership engagement.

Campaign Management: Lead the execution, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of key fundraising initiatives.

Team & Data Oversight: Manage direct reports and maintain data integrity to support informed decision-making.

Provide coaching and leadership to a small team, fostering a culture aligned with SecondBite's values.

Collaborate on annual budgeting, manage income and expenditure targets, and ensure accountability for financial performance.

Actively manage organisational risk, promote a safe workplace, and escalate issues when necessary.

Contribute to a positive work culture and fulfil additional responsibilities aligned with the role.
