Overview

Technician - Mechanical role at Cummins Asia Pacific in Bunbury workshop.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver first-class service to our customers
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products
  • Diagnose and repair Cummins engines
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues / incidents to the Supervisor
  • Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, warranty claims, quality forms or business system input screens
Qualifications
  • WA driver's licence
  • Australian working rights
  • Mechanical trades qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Mechanic or Light Vehicle with Heavy Diesel experience
  • Cummins experience is not required however engine experience is desirable
  • Safety Focused and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
Experience
  • Minimal level of workshop experience required
  • Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
