Responsibilities
  • Preparation of delicious treats and desserts for corporate functions and events, including high teas and weddings
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food preparation and quality
  • Decorate pastries using a variety of icings, toppings for appeal
  • Adhere to strict cleaning and food hygiene program
  • Creatively contribute to food promotion
  • Knowledge of all Pastry methods involved in the preparation of items produced in Pastry Kitchen
  • Ensuring the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintain to meet Work Health & Safety regulations and HACCP food preparation guidelines
  • Any other duties assigned by your manager
About you / Qualifications
  • Have a natural positive demeanor, with excellent communication, delegation and training skills
  • Possess artistic and creative flair
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work collaboratively with a multicultural diverse team
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery Level 4 or above, Certificate 3 in Patisserie or equivalent
  • Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standards
