Our Elderly Personal & Wellbeing Carers

At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading resident care and services which encourages and enables residents to remain independent with all employees working in our companywide safety-first workplace. Our Personal Carer Worker (PCWs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. We offer shifts in strength & conditioning physio, 1:1 companion support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing and medication shifts with inhouse training programs and buddy systems.

This role based at Ashmore aged care home | Gold Coast will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities.

About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to "think on your feet", communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Have excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears
• Possess a very positive teamwork attitude, be a trusted co-worker, have excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers), and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Have a passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and willingness to help our company deliver quality of care services every day
• Possess great communication skills to engage with our elderly residents in a calm, patient and highly empathic manner that builds trust, companionship and friendship in a warm style.
• Hold the Aged Care Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) as essential. We also recognize 2nd year nursing students with a placement in Aged Care and other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or be willing to obtain it, as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector.

Infinite Care accepts the Ausmed Passport, which is a free, digital certificate for the Australian aged care workforce that recognises their completion of eight, sector-wide, core mandatory training topics.

Our care roles are busy A lot of bending, lifting, pushing and squatting are required to perform your duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
