About the RoleJoin our Priority Life team. As a Senior Financial Adviser, you will provide advice and insights to support clients and services while identifying opportunities and risks. You will liaise with clients to ensure all business requirements are met and completed.
Responsibilities- New business opportunities — maintain strong relationships with referrers and conduct meetings with prospects.
- Attend medical conferences as required to source new leads.
- Local and interstate travel as required.
- Review existing insurance policies.
- Serve existing client needs; contact clients to maintain strong relationships and review if their insurance portfolio is still appropriate for their circumstances.
- Prepare all advice documentation.
- Oversee insurance applications/underwriting/new business follow up.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Risk Adviser.
- Extensive knowledge of personal risk insurance — Life, TPD, Trauma, Income Protection and Business Expense cover.
- Proficiency with Xplan (including Risk Researcher), Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong investigative, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates a passion and pride in delivering successful outcomes.
