The role

Reporting to the Data and Integration Team Leader, we are seeking a BI Developer who can bring their skills and experience for:

  • Design, develop, and implement BI Solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Design and develop complex Crystal reports to support various business functions.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data process from multiple sources into BI systems, using tools like SSIS or equivalent ETL software.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and scripts, creating views, stored procedures, and triggers to support analytics.
To be considered you will have
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field, or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a BI Developer, or equivalent role across relevant technologies and industries/sectors
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management systems MS SQL, other DBs experience is a plus.
  • Stakeholder management skills involving identifying stakeholders, understanding their requirements and expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in the preparation of documentation and reports.
  • Local government experience is desirable
