Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join Brave Bodies, a dynamic, practitioner-led paediatric practice in regional WA. This is a senior role with autonomy to influence clinical quality, lead service improvements, and grow with a supportive team committed to family-centred, evidence-based paediatric care.
Brave Bodies is expanding its OT service and will open a brand-new clinic in Busselton within 6–12 months. The role offers variety, including therapy in homes, schools, and communities across the Busselton, Bunbury, Dunsborough, and Margaret River region, with opportunities to contribute to the clinic's growth and development.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, evidence-based assessment and therapy for a diverse paediatric caseload, with opportunities to focus on areas of clinical interest (e.g., complex developmental needs, sensory processing, early intervention).
- Lead service development and quality improvement within the Occupational Therapy team, shaping and implementing OT programs for new clinics.
- Provide clinical support and mentoring to junior staff and students as the team grows.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, fun, and family-centred empowerment.
- Full AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- A minimum of 4–5 years of clinical paediatric experience.
- Passion for play-based, evidence-based, and family-centred care.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Highly regarded: research experience, mentoring experience, interest in service development and quality improvement.
- Employment Type: Part-time preferred (2–3 days per week, negotiable) with potential to expand to full time.
- Salary: $90,000–$105,000 + Super (pro-rata) with paid leave and stability.
- Alternative options: ABN-based arrangement with commission (40–50% of billings), full admin support, and strong referral base.
- Casual option: $60–$70 per hour + Super.
- Generous travel allowance for mobile work.
- Professional development support (case-by-case basis).
- Dedicated clinical supervision (paid 1-on-1 with external OT).
- Additional 4 days of annual leave per year (pro-rata).
- Performance bonuses for meeting targets.
- Relocation assistance to Busselton for the right candidate.
