About The Role

St Scholastica's College, Glebe, is seeking a visionary and experienced educational leader to join the College Executive Team as Head of Digital Learning and IT. This newly created role will work closely with the Principal and College Executive to work with students and staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in eLearning and innovation and ensure the highest standards of Catholic education.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal and College Executive to drive the Digital Learning strategic direction of the College.
• Lead and monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives in Digital Learning and IT across academic, pastoral, and operational domains.
• Support and extend the work of the College Executive Team, Middle leaders and teaching staff.
• Work closely with the College IT team.
• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Ensure alignment with Good Samaritan Education values and strategic direction.
• Engage with stakeholders including staff, students, parents, and the broader community to embed latest technologies and digital learning approaches within the college community.

Successful Applicants Will Have

• Proven experience in senior leadership within a Catholic educational context.
• Demonstrated capacity to lead strategic planning and change management.
• Deep understanding of Catholic ethos and Good Samaritan Charism.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead with integrity, vision, and compassion.
• Be familiar with Good Samaritan Education and Catholic Schools NSW policies and frameworks.

Desirable Criteria

• Postgraduate qualifications in educational leadership or a related field.
• Experience at senior school leadership level or in a similar executive leadership role.
• Knowledge of contemporary educational practices and emerging trends.
• Experience in leading strategy related to whole school initiatives including teaching & learning and wellbeing aligned with college policy and procedure.
• Capacity to mentor and develop staff and students.
