What does the job look like?

We are looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to lead the Linfox Resources & Industrial business for multiple operations across New South Wales. Working with some of our largest Industrial clients, this role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion. This role would suit an energetic and innovative professional, looking to grow into a leadership role who has multi-site experience in embedding a risk-based approach to keep people safe both physically and mentally.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans
  • Embed a risk-based approach with a focus on everyday, critical and psychosocial risks
  • Coach and mentor leaders through a combination of site visits, facilitated training and workshops
  • Develop and maintain the system with a focus on risk, health, compliance and customer expectations
  • Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions
  • Measure and report on performance, trends and outcomes
Qualifications
  • 4-5 years safety, health and wellbeing and/or other risk-based experience in an advisory capacity
  • Deep and practical understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing and resources industry
  • Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations
  • Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation
  • Ability to develop and present results, plans and updates to leadership teams and customers
