Overview

Maker is looking to expand the team with positions available in the Project Management space. We are looking to hire a Project Manager who is keen to hit the ground running

Maker Consulting Services is a fast-growing firm with a reputation built on quality. With over 60 staff across NSW and VIC we have expertise in Civil Engineering, Roads & Traffic Infrastructure, Stormwater & Flooding, Surveying, Project Management, Planning and Construction Administration, and are looking for a motivated Project Manager to join the team in our Wollongong (or Nowra) office on the beautiful South Coast of NSW.

The Role

Working closely with clients and project teams, you will manage the full lifecycle of projects from acquisition, planning and approvals through to tender, construction and handover. Drawing from previous experience, you will demonstrate your ability to deliver projects of all sizes to exceptional quality within the project timeframes and budget.

Your Responsibilities
  • Organising and managing the complete development process for allocated projects.
  • Managing project programs, finances, quality, and WHS.
  • Identifying risks and establishing mitigation processes.
  • Overseeing and managing design teams.
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with Clients, Councils, and key stakeholders.
  • Interpret and manage contractual matters.
  • Managing RFI's, EOT's, and Variations through construction.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5-years' local experience in a Project Management and/or Contract Administration role is preferred.
  • A strong understanding of the development lifecycle and statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements for construction.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Contract Administration knowledge.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and self-motivated person who wants to succeed and learn from a team of industry experts.
