Wood is currently seeking expressions of interest for a highly ambitious Discipline Process Engineer to support the development, optimization and improvement of processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability for a major capital works program in Laverton, Victoria.


The Role

The ideal candidate would be part of a project delivery team supporting the Principal Process Engineer.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing technical reports, process engineering documentation, and standard operating procedures for projects in the chemicals / agricultural sectors
  • Analyses workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety
  • Ensures all processes and procedures adhere to safety regulations and quality standards
  • Reviews process hazard analyses (PHA), HAZOPs, and LOPAs to identify and mitigate potential risk
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for collaborating with other engineers, project managers, and stakeholders

  • Minimum 4 years' direct experience on projects in major hazards facilities (MHF)
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Bachelor's degree in chemicals engineering (or related field)
  • Must be available to work onsite in Laverton, Victoria
