Primary purpose: The Finance Business Partner is the key and consistent point of contact for their assigned customer group, ensuring their financial back-office runs smoothly while unlocking long-term value from Visory's services. The role guides customers through onboarding, manages ongoing service delivery, resolves major issues, and proactively engages clients with insights to improve retention and renewals. Internally, you will orchestrate a team of cross-functional experts to ensure quality customer experiences.
Responsibilities- Customer Relationship & Account Health: Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of Visory customers; proactively engage to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth; identify opportunities for service expansion and upsell; advocate for customers and provide feedback to internal teams.
- Onboarding & Change Management: Oversee customer onboarding; guide customers through training, communications, and change management for long-term success.
- Service Quality & Issue Resolution: Be accountable for overall account health; ensure service quality standards are met; act as escalation point for major issues and coordinate with Managers and Experts to resolve challenges.
- Deliver Insights Product: Lead regular meetings to provide insights and advice; use financial data to guide operational improvements; ensure strong adoption and engagement with the Visory Insights product.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a cross-functional team aligned to the customer portfolio; set goals, coach, and foster ownership, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement; coordinate resource planning with Functional Leads to meet commitments.

- Accounting degree; CA/CPA qualification a plus.
- Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., Business Advisory, Client Accounting, Virtual CFO, Public Practice Accounting).
- Understanding of financial operations, bookkeeping, or back-office finance workflows.
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into approachable insights for business owners.
- Data analysis and translating insights into action plans for customers.
- Proficiency with digital tooling and workflow platforms, including Visory core platform and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Change management experience, especially helping SMEs transition to new service models.
- Startup experience or running a business is a plus; energy, hunger, humility and intelligence are valued.
