About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager for our Alderley site that's ambitious, physically fit, highly motivated with the business acumen to operate an established process driven system and proven car wash model.

You will be supported in your role by our Manager, Sales Manager and other experienced team members from our other site along with daily interaction with the owners of the business.

Car wash experience is preferred but not necessary. Roster as follows week 1 – Monday- Tuesday on, Wednesday-Thursday off, Friday - Sunday on. Week 2 – Monday-Friday on, Saturday-Sunday off.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Managing day to day operations including open and close of business, staff rostering, banking and administrative duties when Manager is not onsite

Staff induction, mentoring and training

Following and implementing process and procedure protocols

Ensuring the continuity of outstanding customer service and quality control.

Maintaining exceptional optical cleanliness of the site at all times

Assist with preventive maintenance schedules

Developing customer relationships

Workplace Health & Safety management

Skills and previous experience:

Manage a team of up to 12 staff in a fast paced environment

Similar role in a process driven business model

Multi-tasking across different areas of the business

Mechanical experience highly regarded but not essential

Customer service and quality control experience

Commitment and dedication to the role

Happy disposition and must be highly organised

Able to work under pressure and to time limits

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Communicate effectively and build relationships internally/externally
