We're a small, high-performing team with a strong footprint: regular events, a strong presence on LinkedIn and email, and lots of content. But it's time to shift from tactical activity to a more strategic, results-driven approach. That's where you come in.

The Mission

We're looking for a freelance/contract Marketing Strategist to design a focused, practical B2B marketing strategy that brings rigour, prioritisation, and commercial cut-through.

You'll help us:

  • Sharpen our positioning so we don't sound like everyone else
  • Identify our highest-value audiences and who the decision-makers really are
  • Recommend the best-fit marketing channels — and how to use them well
  • Turn engagement into qualified leads (especially from LinkedIn and online events)
  • Uncover gaps and missed opportunities in our current efforts

We want a clear, prioritised roadmap with smart timelines, budget guidance, and quick wins we can act on while the plan builds.

One key focus area will be growing our P&C Circle membership so experience marketing to HR, P&C or OD leaders is a plus.

What We're Looking For

You're someone who:

  • Has designed B2B strategies that actually get implemented
  • Balances creativity with commercial thinking
  • Understands how to work with small, fast teams and limited budgets
  • Can push our thinking, but knows how to keep it practical

We move quickly and value clear thinking, action and results over marketing jargon.

Bonus points if you've worked with APAC-based clients, especially in Australia or New Zealand and understand the nuances of marketing to HR, P&C, or senior leaders in this region

Budget + Logistics

We've budgeted up to $6K.
